Meet Dani
Specialises in: Creative colour, curly cuts, colour corrections, tape extensions, managing scalp disorders
Dani is co-owner of Smoke & Mirrors. She is a massive hair geek who lives and breathes all things hair. She trains our team with passion and expertise. As an independent creative color educator in NZ, she wields her magical skills with Manic Panic dyes, specializing in color corrections and tackling the hard stuff. Bright, vibrant, and rainbow hues are her playground. Curly hair and "problematic hair" are no match for Dani's wizardry.
Meet Benji
Specialises in: All things barbering | taper fades, styling tips & beard shaping
Benji is co-owner of Smoke & Mirrors. He's not your average barber; he's a tutor at ARA's barbering department, sharing his wisdom with future barbers. His love for creativity extends to incorporating vibrant colors into his services, turning hair into works of art. As a beard specialist, he sculpts and styles facial hair with finesse, leaving clients with envy-worthy beards that demand attention.

Meet Maddie, our witty hairdresser and barber with an artistic flair. She's known for her dry humor and good banter as well as delivering lightning-fast short back and sides, she'll have you looking sharp in no time. As an artist at heart, she brings a creative touch to every cut, and her love for plants and markets adds a vibrant twist to her eclectic style.

Elly is a bubbly, sweet, and smiley hairdresser who is known for her perfectionism and attention to detail. With a passion for her craft and a creative flair, she takes pride in creating unique and stunning hairstyles that leave her clients feeling confident and beautiful.
Meet Majenta

Majenta is our most experienced stylist at Smoke and Mirrors with 17+ years in the industry behind her, Majenta has even owned her own salon and is now loving being a part of a dynamic team. She specializes is classic foiling techniques and short funky hair cuts! If you love a good chat and quick wit, you'll find yourself laughing along with her contagious laugh, smile and storytelling!
Meet Megan
Specializes in: natural blended foils, classic hairdressing & hair ups
Megan is our salons official extra pair of hands! After a short hiatus from hairdressing to have her 2x beautiful babies, Megan has joined Smoke and Mirrors on alternate Saturdays bringing with her 13 years of experience and passion for all things hair!
